PROJECT DESCRIPTION 

The dual-brand, mid-rise hotel offers university adjacency and amenities for visitors and residents on one of the city's main thoroughfares. The seven-story project is designed to harmonize with the college campus' material use and the scale of the local context. It houses 275 guest rooms, a cafe, meeting rooms, a fitness center, and an outdoor pool deck for both short-term and extended stay guests. Sensitive planting and shading break down the scale of the street for the ground-floor retail and lobby spaces to invite pedestrian interaction. Underground valet car parking serves travelers exploring the city. Close proximity to a major university campus allows for regular use of the on-site bike parking and pedestrian-friendly local area. The project is expected to be complete in 2019.
