The design of the Vista Design/Build site accommodates the firm's recent business and personnel growth. Vista Design/Build moved into a new, self-designed office in January 2016. Like the design of the firm's new workspace, both the new website and the new logo emphasize efficiency and collaboration. All have a clean, direct design that reflects the firm's clear visions, both business and aesthetic.

Amanda Smith-Mauceri, Vice President of Architecture & Design, said, "The site showcases the growth and evolution in our services by presenting each one independent of the others, and by delving into our project history."

In order to reflect the firm's particular but versatile aesthetic sensibilities, the website's color palette is a sophisticated but ever-so-slightly offbeat mix of white, black, and deep eggplant.

The two iterations of the firm's new logo appear on the firm's home page in these tones. The logo was stylized in two different ways in order to reflect Vista Design/Build's duality. One iteration of the logo, a traditional, monogram-style piece, emphasizes the firm's legacy in hospitality. The other, a more stylized and interpretive collection of four lines, showcases the firm's innovative take on classic design.

The four lines that make up the contemporary, design-geared logo were derived from the letters in the classic, hospitality-geared logo.

"We have an eclectic portfolio," said Ashley Galindo, head graphic designer at Vista Design/Build. "I wanted to design a visually unified logo with variations that show off the distinct aspects of each of our projects and services."

As time goes on, Vista Design/Build plans to continuously update the site with exhibits of current projects and case studies of past work. This will give prospective clients insight into the breadth and depth of the firm's capabilities.
